... a site using the multi language module? And a site using the Play module.

The, of course, don't have to be the same site and they can be test/development sites. I'm just looking for examples of these to see whether they are likely or not to do what I'm looking for.

MLE is not a module but some changes to the code to support multilanguage CMSMS.

In MLE the lang files are lang file of CMSMS. You can translate some items of en_US
