Is there any way to implement internal messaging between FEU Users?

I need some kind of internal messaging system between FEU users. Any FEU user should be able to send messages to another users, go to their inbox to read messages sent to them and reply them/delete them.

No there's no mechanism for this right now..... it's been on my 'nice to have' list for a while though.

Well, it's not really hard to write - one database table, few templates, only basic admin area - it should be few hours work if to do it for one project only and do not care about use it in other projects. I'll try to write it in abstract way so I could contribute it to developer area.
