Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd say thank you for the solution so far.

I spent at least a week looking for something that would enable me to create a site similar to https://partner.microsoft.com before starting to code one from scratch. There are some phplayers issues, but I'll probably take care of them.

CMSMS wins.   - customizing template as we speak based on existing look/feel so I can get my current content in immediately and start publishing other fun stuff. Going from 20 pages to 500 will be fun...

This will be the preferred solution for client deployments.

This is great news.  The more consulting companies that adpot CMSMS, the better.

Would you mind if we used a quote from you post on our site?  And possibly, for a little added exposure, would you be interested in writing a short white paper after you've released a site or two and have it streamlined a bit?

I'll provide you with a better quote once everything goes live. But sure, feel free to use it without mentioning the phplayers issues. And yes I'd be happy to provide an article for you explaining why CMSMS was the ultimate choice. I switched to the beta3 so far, so different menu is used, which made me have to figure out CSS.

If I could make a suggestion, that would be provide 3 or 4 pre-defined templates (navbarLeft-header-content-treeRight [merged]), (navbarLeft - header - content [merged or split]), (header - content - navbarRight [merged or split]) so others will less patience than me don't have to "enjoy" learning CSS. And secondarily, red bar as hilighter is not the best color choice for the default CSS menu, which made it a bit more painful than it should be to customize it. PHPLayers worked out of the box.

Now that I thought of it, I think I'll contribute my final template once I am done with it, as far as CSS is concerned. There are some resources I found linked from focums that let me create CSS code fast though.

The site is looking great.  Yeah, I was just thinking about changing that red to something a little less painful.  As for some default templates, it's definintely on the list for 1.0.  I doubt they'll be ready in time for 0.11...

And, yes, any template contributions would be very welcome.
