[solved] unable to see config page in new installation

installing the last version.

I get "Internal Server Error" in the base url
or
Fatal error: Call to undefined function redirect() in /home/xdomainx/public_html/p/index.php on line 50

or
Fatal error: Call to undefined function cms_join_path() in /home/xdomainx/public_html/p/install/index.php on line 30
using url /install url

I've made the steps 1 to 6,
but don't understand the phrase "you need to change permissions of the following files and directories " because you don't show any files in the list, only folders.

also changed .htaccess (in the root, public_html, not in public_html/xxxx) added the line
SecFilterEngine Off
with no luck.

also http log don't show none about.

Thanks in advance,
Guerrero, Spain.

Hello Guerrero from Spain,

please tell us more (everything) on the hosting context.
Don't worry if you don't find files in /tmp but only folders.
What do you mean by "last version" ? Sorry to ask this, but which one ?
Could it be a broken upload ?
I don't understand much "error A OR error B OR error C" : what is reproducible and how ?

Hello Pierre,
I don't know why but in an new try this reports SUCCESS.

btw "last version" is "ysterday downloaded version", sorry, now cmsms admin reports "CMS Made Simple 1.2.3 "Black Rock""

Now I need
- module for photo-gallery (I see "Album" in admin panel, I will try)
- module for "simple" forum ¿?
- module for "simple blog"
- customize
- put in spanish

Thanks in advance,
Merci
:o

Hi again,

please prefix the title of your first post with [solved]. It helps sorting open issues and solutions.
Have fun with CMSms !

I think the problem is some bug in FileZilla running in Windows Vista, sometimes the files transferred have size 0, thus; copy the file description but not the content.
Thanks to Mark to advise on this "feature". my new dell laptop comes with Win.Vista, maybe this will be pretty for no expertise home users, but for the rest of us this is an nightmare.
