Image captions, DOM and CSS

I came across this when searching for a way for inputters without coding skills to add tidy captions to page images. Am most definitely not an expert but before I start would this be acheivable in CMSMS?

http://www.boagworld.com/archives/2006/07/styled_images_with_caption.html

I notice in the comments on this article that someone has produced a Word Press Plugin for this - any barriers to a plugin being produced for CMSMS? (apart from time and my ignorance)

Thanks in advance for any help/advice

Regards
Lynne

It's totally possible to do it with CMSMS, you don't even need a plugin, just follow the instructions on that page that you posted. For the javascript to work in your template simply wrap it in the smarty {literal} {/literal} tags, the rest is basic HTML and CSS.

The nice thing about using jQuery is that it will be a standard part of CMSMS from version 2.0
This is a cool part.

Adding caption is a frustrating part

I wonder if this will be included in the news module. Like this example with caption...http://www.nulc.ac.uk/about/
