CMS Made Simple Forums

If someone could point me in the right direction on this I'd appreciate it.
My other site www.homestead-acres.com I would like to make side boxes in a similar style for my new site using CMS.  However when I tried to copy the css sections over it hasn't worked...
I can't find any info in the manual or forum so far on how to make this type of box.  I'm trying to make a main page with a left column with side boxes for different topics.  One to list articles, another for recipe types etc.

If you want you can use your existing template, or go here http://themes.cmsmadesimple.org/Theme_Frameworks.html and the 3rd one down is a 3 col. wireframe that would be real close to what you had then just change things to suit your tastes...
