I know calguy1000 was working on an integration with zen cart. I'm sure it'd be welcome with open arms by a lot of people who are willing to pay the $50 or so. Thought I'd freshen up the topic here.
Is this still an active project??
In anticipation,
Herb

That's a major bummer.
(Might go trial the WP E-com plugin. ... just for 20 products or so)
Thanks Calguy.

herbshirt,
Did you check out the other options in CMSMS before the trial? Have you looked at the plugin you mentioned? And?
Is module Cataloger with PayPal connection an option for you?
I take it that you have searched the forum on shop or ecommerce for alternatives.

I hadn't considered the cataloger, it's described as 'non-ecommerce'.
Cataloger with PayPal connection would be an option.... No I haven't trialled the WP plugin I mentioned yet.
I still prefer cms ms over the other equivalent options and would prefer stick with ONE solution. I've built a couple of cms sites recently and this year I'm hoping to build a lot more. I realise what an undertaking such applications would be to build but it's so frustrating that the only e-com solution seems to be zen cart but the admin area is soooo ugly and almost embarrassing to to pass on to the client.
thnx.

Can someone take a look at
http://virtuemart.net/ and use the way it's setup to create one for CMSMS? Virtuemart is an ecommerce plugin specifically for Joomla and it is open source, so doesn't that mean that some code can be used? I really prefer to use CMSMS over Joomla and it just seem that this would move CMSMS up another level.
What would it cost to custom create something like that?
