[SOLVED] New user needs help - These menus are easy???

I have been using Joomla and have gotten very profient in it. I thought I would try out CMS Made Simple because it is supposed to be a very fast way to implement web sites.

I installed CMS Made Simple on a server with no problems. I am using the top dropdown menu with two column layout.

How in the world do you edit the existing menu that is showing up? Before I say this is very difficult, I will ask for help. It may be my own stupidity at work here.

I click on menu manager and I see nothing as far as editing the menu. I go to the css and html section and I see nothing about editing the menu.

Does the menu editing have to be done manually? Is there no fill in the blanks type menu as almost ALL other CMS's have?

Please help me here. Thanks.

To edit the existing menu do you mean the name of the pages?...

Go to Content > Pages click on the name of the page and change the Menu Text:    and the Title:  you will also need to go to the options tab and clear the Alias: box to get a new alias, which you can add your own alias if you don't want an auto generated alias...

If this isn't what you meant you may need to be more specific as to what you mean...

OK, I have found the pages and yes, I can manipulate them from there. That was something I looked at, but it went right over my head. Thank you for the swift reply. I have a couple other quick questions, but I am going to read the documentation again first, so I won't feel silly asking something so obvious. By the way, nice forum...
