Polls Made Simple Installed but Where is the Results Page and or Tag for it

Post by joy »

Hi, I created the polls made simple page and I have a poll appearing on the page, however, I cannot figure out where the results page is.  Do I need to create another page and add some sort of results page tag inside of it?

When I cast a vote, the poll returns me to the home page, but in the address bar I see this
mysitesname.index.php?pollvotingchoice_2=4&vote=Vote

I see the address of the page tells me the choice I made (I guess), but the page itself is not appearing.

Please tell me what to do next.  Thank You :)

Hmm, this means that the ajax-magic for some reason does not work. I assume you installed latest version of both Polls and AjaxMadeSimple? COuld you provide me with a link to the site showing the trouble?

Sil.

Hi,  I installed (uploaded) ajax 1.5, and in my control panel I had an alert that said it needed updating... so I clicked the update button.
Maybe I should not have updated the ajax?.. so I attempted to re upload the UNcurrent ajax 1.5 and my control panel would not let me :).

The site is still WIP, helpinginchrist dot com

Thanks :)

Hi,
I'm inside of the Ajax help page and I totally lose it when I read this paragraph
>................
In your module-frontend, that is for instanse your Action-function or your action.default.php-file set up the Ajax-requester and provide either the external file or the module-method providing the new content for Ajax to substitute.
You only need 1 or 2 function to set it up and the API goes like this:
function RegisterAjaxRequester($modulename,$textid,$divid,$method="",$filename="",$params=array(),$formfields=array(),$refresh=-1)  {
<.................

I want to use this thingy for the polls, but I am too dumb to understand what I need from that line of poetry.

Anyone that has a moment to help, I'd certainly appreciate it.  Thank you!

No rush, I am not trying to sound pushy.
