IE7 XML Error in Admin Content / Pages section on page Re-sort

I have CMSMS 1.2.2 up and running on PHP 4.4.7. All seems to be working well. However, in the Content/Pages Admin area, when I try to re-sort a page or move it up or down, I get an error in IE7 indicating that the XML returned from the server is invalid. However, when I refresh the browser re-sort action has taken place. Can anyone give me insight on how to correct this error?

I think I read elsewhere in the forums that having some non alpha, numeric, - or _ characters in your page alias can cause this.

Have you installed any new modules lately?

Yes. I installed some modules yesterday but deleted some of them as well I kept at least a couple of the modules I installed though. Could that be the cause of the problem? If so, how can I fix this problem?

You could try uninstalling them, one at a time, to see if any of them are causing the problem. If not, reinstall them.

I just tried using IE7 on a couple of my sites and did not have any problem.

If you google it, it seems like there are a few XML problems with xajax. Don't know why it works for me, but not you.
Don't think there's an easy fix for this.

Hi Nullig,
Thanks for your replies. I found the solution to the problem! Apparently, the problem has something to do with the en_US.php file of one of the modules. So I checked all the en_US.php file in every module folder and deleted the empty lines after the ?> tag. After doing that, I went back to the pages section in the admin panel and everything worked perfectly.

I'm not really sure because I edited all of them before checking the pages section in the admin panel. But it's probably one of these because they're the only new ones that I kept from the modules I added yesterday:
* CGExtensions
* CMSMailer
* NMS
* TinyMCE WYSIWYG Basic
