I've installed this software on a variety of hosts with smooth sailing. But I just installed 1.2.1 and did the bug fixes and the rendered page viewed by the public does puts the following stuff at the top of the pages.  It also happens when I did the 1.2.1 - 1.2.2 differences upgrade. Clearing cache doesn't fix it, actually it causes it, along with any change to the template, css, or any update in admin. Whenever you go to the live site, it puts this on the top of the page -- with any browser - logged in or not. It resolves when you refresh the page again. I'm installing 1.2, it was smooth. The maintenance releases are really odd.

Man, I'm an idiot!

I reinstalled 1.2 and it still happened which made me look more closely at my template and I had cdata and conditional ie stuff without the literal tag. Me need some sleep.
