TinyMCEadv editor and insert CMSMS link

This is a bit weird. I had a problem with TinyMCEadv not showing the list when clicking on insert CMSMS link and then it worked. Then I decided to unstall TinyMCE basic and the list went away again. I reinstalled it basic and it works again. So does TinyMCEadv need TinyMCE basic to run correctly?
