how to enable server side php sessions

m not able to log into the admin console after installation of the CMSMS. the solutions is as above mentioned question. cud somebody help me with the same please.

installing CMSms requires working PHP sessions.
To have working PHP sessions, ask your hosting provider or the PHP support.
In one of my hosting places I had to create a world readable and writeable (777) folder called "sessions" at the root.
