CMS Made Simple Forums

I think CMSMS is just wonderful, and I'm sure it can/will do exactly what I'm looking for. 

I'm more than willing to look through modules myself, but I was just wondering if anyone knows right off the bat any specific modules that will help me modify CMSMS to do what I need.

Here's a list of what I am looking for:

* I'm using CMSMS for a secured, member only section on my website. (http://www.arpast.org) Any suggestions on modules/extensions to install to make this section completely secure, allow user's registered by myself or another admin (no self register) to login to view the site, etc. etc. will be greatly appreciated. 

* I need to have a calendar where the users can RSVP for specific events.  I saw that there is a seminar registration module and I'm planning to look further into using that. 

* I need something like membership management.  It doesn't have to be extensive, just a place to house and search through queries of member information such as contact info, whether filled out necessary forms, and if they've paid yearly dues.  Even a note box under each member for the admin to write notes would suffice.

That is pretty much all I am looking for (whew!) Thanks in advance for your guidance.

why dont you take a few of those key words and try the search box in the forge. im sure youll find things like... frontenduers.. calendar.. etc.

Yes, and that's what I am doing.  It's just my needs are so specific that I thought I might throw out there what I am looking for to see if anyone else might have been going for the same things and found a good tool to use. 

Just looking for suggestions, while wondering if this is capable of doing what I need.

well try frontendusers and the  calendar module. there is also a feucalender module so users can add events to the calender from the frontend.

theres a video tutorial in the wiki on installing feu and customcontent if you want an example of its application.
