NMS Cannot compose messages

I have installed NMS 1.0.1 on my cmsms-mle-1.2 But when i go to create a message under the messages tab in the control panel I see no place to create the message. See the screenshot of the page. what did i do wrong? and of course, How do i go about fixing it?

Try uninstalling and installing again, there's a 'production release' that's version 1.0.2 that you can find in the forge. I think the XML for 1.0.2 is not working but you can download the zip unzip to NMS and upload to your modules folder in your server, then go to Extensions > Modules and it will tell you that NMS needs upgrading, upgrade and it should work.

Ok Thanks for the help
well I tried the upgrade but it's still the same thing. I cant compose messages. Takes me to the same screen as the pic above.
I even tried deleting all the temp files on my computer and the files in templates_c.
Any chance its a permission issue or something like that?
