CMS Made Simple Forums

Just looking at the template for what's currently up at http://www.directpt.com and I've installed the most recent non-beta version of CMSMS, how would I make it possible to have sections in this template to be updated with CMSMS?

I'm just looking for a starting place, I've been searching old posts and maybe I'm just not looking in the right place at all, but I'm not finding what is probably right in front of my face on this one!

I am quite the new user of CMS systems as well, so a little insight goes a long way and I usually can take a tip and run with it, so anything is appreciated!

I tried that in the template and then tried to create a new page and typed in some info, and nothing came into the spot where the text was places...I'm such a newb, I really appologize in advance if this crap is something totally obvious!
