I had a situation recently where I created a page, disabled it temporarily. Then when I re-enabled it, it appeared as enabled in the control panel. However no matter what I did, the page wouldn't show up on the front-end. I tried clearing cache, and tried other browsers. I disabled and enabled the page a number of times, and it would not show up.
I ended up having to create a new page and copy the content from the problematic page and just delete it.

Anyone else have an issue like that? and know what the deal is?

Did you only "Activate" the page, or set the "Show in menu" as well in the options-tab of a page?

This is a freebie site I was making for my sister, and she may have changed that option by mistake.
