How do I create a link to another page within the text?

Say I have some 'read more' text or just want to link to the contact page from within my text...I select the text that I want to be a link and click on the little icon that looks like a chain and a pop-up appears. The first line is for the Link URL and there is an icon next to it which is clickable and so I presume I click on this to locate the page I want to link to - but no, it opens up an FCKeditor and I can locate images only. How do I link to a page?

I'm using CMSMS v1.2 and have the TinyMCE WYSIWYG basic installed.

there is next to the chain thing a yellow palm... like cmsms.... this is the cmsselflink option... there you can choose a page....

damn - I think I got rid of that as I cleaned out things I didn't need and thought the chain icon represented links and that's the only one I would need for that purpose..can I just type cmsselflink back into the list to make the button reappear or has it got a different name?

What is the use of the chainlink icon then - can I get rid of that? I want to streamline the buttons to the bear essentials that my client needs and strip out all the ones she doesn't.

sometimes, if you want to link to external pages, you have to use href, or if you want to make links to a light box (java script) or popups for example...

I would leave that...
