a verticaly menu that is expandible. I tried using the user submitted template and did not work. Or else do you have one that has a vertical menu with mouse over function?

If you go thru the default install pages the first menu is an expandable one that will expand when it has children under the item you clicked, then under Default Templates Explained you will find drop down/fly out  menus...
