CMS Made Simple Forums

Hi hope someone can help - I have searched but can't seem to find anything similar.

I have just installed CMS Made Simple 1.2 - seemed to go well and pretty straightforward I've never used this software before so it was a nice change for an install to go without a hitch - that is until I started to have a look around and try out the buttons and stuff *laughs*

If I attempt to open Image manager - I get a "page cannot be displayed" message - if I go to file manager I can access the uploads folder and I can view the files in it, I can also use the file manager to upload images into my uploads folder and to view the images once they have been uploaded.

On checking the modules - image manager isn't showing as installed (but all the folders etc are up on the server including imagefiles.php) yet the admin menu does give me the image manager option - it just doesn't open anything except the page not found message inside the frame.

I checked module manager under "i" and there is no option there to install image manager.

Can anyone advise what I can do to get this working?

Or let me know if I really need it - will file manager suffice?

Not sure if it's usde by other modules like Album, but maybe the FTP dropped a file, try a reupload...

Re-uploaded it and still nothing - can work around it but it's just frustrating that this appears to be the only thing not functioning and I cannot see why 

Did you check the config.php for link/path errors?... one is for image manager...

image manager isn't a module, and won't show up in the modules list.

TBH I'm not sure what's going on everything is correct (path's etc) - I know this because I have got it working however when I click on Image manager from the admin menu inside the frame I get page not found but if I click to go back then the page opens and everything works    refresh doesn't fix it but for some reason "back" does lol

Since I now can get it open it's no longer a big deal but it would be nice to know why it's acting like that.
