Tags In the News Module

Hey all,
First off, CMSMS rocks!!.
I am currently working on a wireframe demo of it to try and get it used within my studio on some upcoming projects. I think it is a perfect fit.
One question though. Can you place tags and user tags within the News module summary and detail template. When I do it isn't working at all.
