Hi folks,

Just a quickie, hope that someone can help

Basically I have my 'Homepage' as a link rather than content, then the rest of my pages all as content.

I have setup my homepage as a link to the page I wish to load and all works fine when you click on the 'homepage' link in the menu.

But when the base URL is entered into the browser the linked page doesnt load, and instead I just get a blank page with just my template and no content.

I have done a work around using a meta redirect but its not ideal and I dont really want to do it this way.

Any ideas?  I have also set the alias to the page name i want to link to and that works, but only from other pages on my site, not from the sites actual bog standard URL.

Why you don't use "default" to this page?
In List content apply "default" check in this page and not to home

Thank you for your reply.

With this being a 'link' and not 'content' there is not an option that I can see to set this page as default?

On the 'Current pages' screen the cross/tick is not available for this page, but it is for all the others.

I can see now that this is the problem.  I need my homepage page (which is a link) to be the default page to load when the base URL is entered.
