Hi folks, can someone please have a quick look to see if i have any major oops's :)
Looks ok on my FF and i fixed a ie7 (shudder) issue.
Its just a personal site so so biggies - I'd just prefer to have it all OK - Im using this as a learning curve to work on another site :)
Suggestions welcome - Anyways, this is it : http://www.gmwit.com
By the way - which is the Blog Module - cant find it in module list or docs.
I kinda see how to use News - but it seems to take some sorting out, correct?
Id just be using it as a kind of noticeboard not a full blog.
Thanks heaps

Mury,

I don't know if it is on purpose, but the main is pushed down, in IE6.

Hi RonnyK, no its not intentional  - grrr this IE - I used to use it to design to IE as so many use IE not FF.
I changed to FF and now seem to forget the IE'ers :)
I fixed it in IE7,  it was width of Content area - maybe IE6 is still complaining re same.
or/ Im missing something in the stylesheet which I kinda changed - i remember something re a IE space issue in the forum .
I'll "try" to find it- Thanks

Mury,

I can post a printscreen (at the office i have IE6), at home I run IE7 and FF.

You can by the way run multiple versions of IE at a single machine.

Please reply if you want a screenshot, or if the link helped enough.

Hi RonnyK - found it - I'd forgotten there was a Template setting #pagewrapper {width:expression(P7_MinMaxW(855,855));} that was over-riding the stylesheet. Thanks for the headsup
Oh - got the (yuk) IE6 installed but hope to never use it again :)
Keep well.

Mury,

looking much better.

Two small things. The button of CMSMadeSimple doens't have a link. You might want to replace the text in the footer with that image. To have CMSMS mentioned (very good), at a single place with a link.

In the footer is copyright "CMS Made Simple", you might want to change that to your name/company, this can be done by editing, the GlobalContentBlock called 'footer'.

Well done! Very nice site design. I like the clean, uncluttered look. The only thing that bothers me, from a design perspective, is the "chunkiness" of the footer. Perhaps you could use a lighter colour there to make it fit in with the rest of the site.

Hi Nullig, thanks for the feedback - I agree - just need to chop up the stylesheet again :)
CMSMS has been an interesting sideline - need to work out a couple of details so I can apply it to my next project :)
Keep well
