I don't know how else to describe this, please see attached image as to what I mean. I don't know what I did to cause this either, as I was looking for modules to download - so doubt I could have done anything
When I login to admin section, it now disaplys as per the pic. Please, how do i get the formatting back?
tks

Are you using IE6 perchance? I have the same problem with some of the computers in my office. When the admin page first loads it loses all formatting as you have shown.
The way to fix it is to just press 'Refresh' again and then it will look normal. The problem is you have to do this for every page load.
If you use Firefox, or IE7 you will not experience this problem according to my experience, but perhaps this is a potential issue with IE6 which needs to be addressed. I didn't mention it earlier because I figured if lots of people were experiencing it then it would already be a well-known issue.

thanks for the replies.
ctp6360: i checked in all my browsers (Firefox, IE6 and Safari) and they were all the same.
cubix: I am running 1.1.3.1 - but you hit the nail on the head I think. I happened to be uploading (ftp) a module which I'd unzipped on my PC, as soon as the module was done uploading and all there, the site restored itself. I think it might have something to do with the admin site looking for bits of a module that isn't there yet?
anyway, its all working now again.

glad you got it sorted racer,
depending on your ftp client, you may want to use another client that wont cause errors like this.
ive found filezilla works nicely.

I just installed CMSMS 1.2.5 and added a couple modules to the admin section. The last one I installed was the Captcha when I lost the css formatting on the Admin section.
I've looked at it in FireFox and IE 7 and the results are the same. I've done the refreshes as well. Any other ideas how to get it back without starting over?

Hello, have you tried to uninstall Captcha ? Or is your question how to do it ? Then try FTP too.
