[solved] CMS release and packed module

Just a simple question.
Which are the module that get packed with the basic CMSMS installation?

I've done and update of my installation and afterwards looking also for other module release I saw that news is at 2.5 version while my version is still at 2.3.0.2

During the upgrade news didn't got updated, therefore I guess that either it is not in the basic package any more or in the cmsms package there is an older version.

P.S.
before someone give suggestion, in my installed module list there is no upgrade link to the news, just the uninstall link.

Bobonov,

News is part of the CORE-system. Only 2.5 is being modified for 1.2. In modules, there is only an upgrade-link available when a newer version is FTP-ed. Newer versions will be visible in Module Manager though.

Exactly what I knew, it is part of the core but it didn't get updated. That's why I posted, it looked strange to me.
I tried to update it by module manager but I've got an error:

Bobonov,

what I meant to say is that NEWS 2.5 is for NEW CMSMS 1.2 which is in beta, and not yet for STABLE CMSMS 1.1.3.1. That's why itsn't in the install yet.

Hoops! Got it!
So it is still the issue with cms module extension which still show all version regardless the compability with the current installation.
Anyhow when I try to install it it should tell me something about the minimum version incompatibility

Bobonov,

I think that the re-writing of ModuleManager to only show latest stable for running CMSMS-version was meant for 1.2 as well. I don't think that it is already re-written in 1.1.

I even don't know if it IS rewritten in 1.2  ;)
