Errors on Current Pages in Admin section

I installed full, new version 1.1.2 on my unix server and when I logged in to the admin section and brought up the Pages page under content, the following errors came up: Line 242, char 55, Error - Expected "j", Code 0, URL - /admin/listcontent.php

The same error came up for line 238, char 51

I looked on the listcontent.php page but couldn't come up with anything difinitive.

I reinstalled the admin directory - didn't help.

I upgraded to 1.1.3.1 - also didn't help.

This error does not come up on any of the other sites I've installed cmsms on.

These errors seem to hamper adding/editing content to pages - the program will sometimes freeze and not accept the new changes...depending on how long I've been working on a given page.

I've noticed no other problems.  Any ideas on what to do about this?

Appreciate your time -

1. Enable debug in config.php and check for rilevant error
2. Check in httpd log for rilevant error
3. If yuo have FF install FIREBUG addon for debug
