[RESOLVED] MySQL Dump Module Error Installing

Hello,

I'm using CMS Made Simple 1.1.3.1 "Apia" and can not install the MySQL Dump Module.

Error!
Checksum error. This probably indicates a corrupt file, either when it was uploaded to the repository, or a problem in transit down to your machine.

expected: 57b8a458f98a60bbc2f5e7925588fd05 and got 703762acd6fd272df377bc3d8e305541

Can anyone recommend a way of backing up file and db via cmsms.  I want my clients to be able to manage the backups.

Thank you,

TJ

TJ,

download the XML from the dev-area and use "Extensions -> Modules" to upload/install the module.

Thank you that resolves this issue.

I would like to suggest the option of having the back file download to the users machine upon backup, much like phpmyadmin does.

Otherwise, the client then has to backup the /admin/backups/ folder to get it off the hosting server.

Thank you,

TJ

TJ,

they don't have to go to that folder, after mySQL dump has run, at the bottom a hyperlink is available on which right-mouse-click makes it possible to download the file immediately.

Thank you,  I did try that which failed only because I have not made my DNS records active yet.

Thanks!
