E-Mail Link in TinyMCE

My boss (who doesn’t know HTML very well and still wants to edit pages) was asking where the button was to insert e-mail links. I told her it used to be in FCKeditor (where you could choose between the http, https, and mailto URL prefix), noticing that in TinyMCE this feature is missing. Is it possible/feasible to enable that for TinyMCE as well? (and don’t tell me to switch to FCKeditor then – TinyMCE has still many advantages and I’d rather use this one)
I told her how to write mailto links but I guess after some time of not using it it will soon be forgotten again and it would just be easier if that was automated.
