NMS and WYSIWYG editors - suggestions so that they actually cooperate

Problem #1
My customer wants to add pictures in the messages, but no pictures will be displayed to the recipient. This is because TinyMCE  doesn´t include the full URL of the image file - only the relative. FCKeditor does this, but none of them can handle files containing spaces or special characters very well. I´d like to see this functionality added in future releases of the editors because as it is now the NMS is completely useless to my customer.

Is there a simple temporary sollution to this problem? Or are there other WYSIWYG editors that does this?

Problem #2
The template does not display well when sent to clients using web mail such as Hotmail and Gmail. I have seen news letters with rich HTML/CSS content display fine in web mail aplications - what´s the difference really?

Sending HTML mail to mail clients is a complex issue.

1) Should the images be attached, or should the be external links?
    different email clients will handle them both differently

2) Styles..... are external stylehseets permitted?  style tags? inline styles? 

Either way, it's beyond t he scope of CMS Made simple, as this is a topic for marketing in general.  NMS is just a simple tool.

even after all the sending problems have been solved most email clients just plain refuse to show any pictures (its probably just spam anyway) and people using text mode email clients (I know there are a *lot*) like mutt or pine wont like your emails at all...

I was talking about external links to images, but if there´d be a way to include the images in the message - that´d be super! I think more email clients would accept the message.
