Hi all,
I have CMS version 1.1 installed and TinyMCE 2.2. that came with it, for another site.
However, in this one, the browse button of TinyMCE to browse for a file or picture, does not work, nothing whatsoever happens !!
Whatever I click, it does NOT work!
The same with the HTML-button in TinyMCE: it does not open any window, or does anything at all.
Tried several options to solve it, nothing helps
I was using IE 7, now tried to do the same with IE6, which at least gives an error, saying "Callback function "TinyMCE_SimpleBrowserPlugin_Browse could not be found".
In Firefox the pages list is not shown at all...
The strange thing is, 2 weeks before I installed exactly the same versions of CMS-Made Simple and TinyMCE 2.2. for another site at another server, but that one works well, does browse!
I Cann't find any other difference!!
What could be the reason for this?
Would anybody PLEASE be so kind to give some clue in which direction to look for?
Thanks so much in advance,
Willemijn

Re: TineMCE 2.2 and Simplebrowse plugin?
Thanks KO !
The browser in which it happens as described, was IE7.
In Firefox 2.0.0.5 not any pop-up works
In IE6, an error indication came at least as described: "Callback function "TinyMCE_SimpleBrowserPlugin_Browse could not be found".
Thanks for the link you gave! It looks like that's an example of a problem with FCKeditor;
mine however is about TinyMCE basic module.
Would you have any clue how this could be solved??
Thanks in advance!

Re: TineMCE 2.2 and Simplebrowse plugin?
In Firefox ... have you allowed it to create popup windows for that domain? I've been confused few times with new domain as popups are not allowed first time you enter them. It's should bring warning just below the "tabs" of different windows thou.
You might also want to uninstall that module and then install it again. There seems to be also a version 2.2.2 that you could try to upgrade as well.

Re: TineMCE 2.2 and Simplebrowse plugin?
Hi KO,
Firefox is no problem as regards pop-ups for that domain (one page shows pictures in pop-ups and they do show normally)....
If i do an uninstall and a re-install for TinyMCE (from the modules that came with CMSMS or even a newer version, about which some others reported problems as well..), I suppose all content of the CMS already in it, will NOT be ruined?
Thnx again,
willemijn

Re: TineMCE 2.2 and Simplebrowse plugin?
Should not create any problems as page content is separate from editor. Still it never hurts to make backup. Seems that TimyMCE 2.2.3 just came out.mev wrote: If i do an uninstall and a re-install for TinyMCE (from the modules that came with CMSMS or even a newer version, about which some others reported problems as well..), I suppose all content of the CMS already in it, will NOT be ruined?
