(Solved) Restore backup with backup 0.5

A client of mine has a problem. She created a CMSMS website using version 0.13. She created it at home, and used the backup module to put it all online.

Recently the server with her website on it crashed. We could restore a backup, and this worked fine for all other CMSMS installations I've used since then, except for her website. It was still running 0.13, and the front-end looks fine. The admin-part is very screwed up after the login.

I've tried just about all I could think of. I restored a backup of my own, resulting in the same admin-part. I have locally installed 0.13, installed the backup module, and put her backup back, nothing happens, I still see the same old default interface, this is also the case in the newest CMCMS version. After this I also tried this on a sub-domain of mine, also both versions, but nothing seems to work.

Is there something I missed? Can anyone help me?

Has she got a recent backup?...

Have you tried reinstalling, create database tables and all (this will delete existing database) Then run backup mod. in restore mode?...

She's got a bacckup of the latest state the website was in.

I have reinstalled version 0.13, created the database tables in a brand new MySQL database. I have installed the backup mod, and ran it in restore mode. After the restore was done, I was looking at exactly the screen I started with.

Incidently I have also done exactly the same on the newest version of CMSMS, but the result stayed the same.

Also: She's the one who got me hooked to CMSMS  ;)

Problem is solved.... at least... she's solved the problem by exporting the data from the live database, and installing that locally on a freshly installed CMSMS 1.1, and also copying the pictures...

Once it's fully functional locally, she'll use the mysqldumo feature to start over on the live website...
