Dumping data into ACCESS

Hi guys,

I have a project and my clients want to have their own CMS, of course my first pick is CMS MS. I need to know if it's possible to export some of the data (that is being captured by forms) into an Access database, automatically, how complex would that be?

I have also looked at the newsletter module but it seems to be at an early stage right now, are there any other options?. I would absolutely prefer if I could do it all with CMSMS, but if it's too complicated what other CMSs would you guys recommend?

Thanks

you dont need to dump the data for access. last time I checked access can connect directly to mysql db.. (but using access is never really a good option imho)

afaik newsletter module is quite complete, if you find bugs please add them to the forge tracker so we can take a look at them

Thanks for your reply,

I will look into Access opening my database directly. Do you know if it would be a better option to do it thru FileMaker? the new version seems to be able to connect to a MySQL database as well.

The main thing I am missing in Newsletter is exporting, even if it's a simple comma separated file.
