My black background-picture is in the editorbox?

Sorry for the bad spelling and for being a completely newbie... But I have a problem....

I'm very happy with CMS made simple, but I have this homepage, with a black background (black with annoying flashing stars).
I have no problem getting my background into the body-tag, but when I do, the same background ends up in the editor box (where I write the content of the site).

All my text on the site is purple (or blue), except in the editorbox (where the text is black).... Meaning I can't see, what I'm typing in the editorbox  :D Funny..... And annoying....

So my question is this:
How do I remove my black starry background from the editorbox (and not the site) or how do I make my letters in the editorbox purple (without always change the color manually)?

:)

Which ver. CMSMS and which editor?...

You can go to Extensions > 'name of editor you use' and you should find options to change background/strip out CSS...

You can also change the "default" in the "Body tag CSS :" to "background-color:white;" or whatever color you want as a background for the the editor.

The setting is done in "Extensions -> TinyMCE....."

Hi and thanks for the help.

I understand what you wrote, RonnyK, but it dosn't work. If I do as you said (which seems to be exactly what I want), then it doesn't change at all. Could it be a bug or am I just extremly stupid?

I'm using CMS MS 1.1.... With a TinyMCE WYSIWYG modul (default I pressume).... What am I doing wrong?

Sorry to hijack your thread - that what RonnyK has written works for me, but it's almost useless because I use different styles for news and different styles for articles (as probably almost everyone else does)... It seems that TinyMCE is for many users WYSIWYDG (D as don't) type of editor.  ;D

I've used it on numerous sites w/o a problem, from way back was always my fav, and most of my clients use it...
