Since implementing friendly URLs on my site, the random image plugin I'm using has developed an odd fault.

The plugin chooses an image in a specified directory at random. There are only 2 images in the directory, yet sometimes it will display a tiny thumbnail version of one of the images! This never happened before when using normal URLs. Anybody else experienced this?

Found the problem. 'Something' created a 'thumb_(filename).jpg' file for each image in that directory.

but not always which can be annoying / confusing
