Can I make it so that I have the Calendar on my page and that when someone clicks on a date with an event in it, the event is displayed below my Calendar?

I don't think you can open just below the calendar, you can however open in the content-area.

Check one of my pages, www.ruimzicht.eu and go back  to april, 29th  to see it in action.

Nice, I also really like the idea of having a demo site running that has some modules installed and properly configured. that way, us n00bs can learn from the experts. That would really benefit to the community I think because I find that documentation is somewhat a weak point. Great forums and great support from forum members although so that makes up for that!
