Just awaiting Multi-language sites...

Hi,

Being completely new to CMSMS (so far only installed on localhost and a small private site for testing), I must say I am very impressed and pleased with what I have seen so far!  :)

The system strikes me as being easy to understand, easy to use and farily easy to setup and customize. I don't have any comments on the documentation, since it has not been necessary for me to use yet.

I am looking very much forward to use CMSMS on a live site sometime soon, and I have a project lined up for it! All I need before starting to implement CMSMS, is the support for Multi-language sites. Once that is in place, I think CMSMS will be the preferred CMS system for A LOT of users around the world.  ;)

Anyone knows about the Multi-language sites module/project? Will it in fact be released Q7 this year with release 2.x, or...?

/Greg

Oh yeah, and here is my Feature Request:  :D

For Multilingual sites I think it would be nice, if it is possible to decide the look of the URL. E.g.:

http://www.gbl.org/index.php?langid=2.......etc......

or

http://www.gbl.org/DK/index.htm......etc.....

It'd be great if you could choose which one to use.

I beg to differ : I don't see how ugly URLs would be an advantage.
If the sites could still serve pages like
http://www.domain.tld/some/path/to/some/page.html
and the pages being automagically multilingual
why should we bother with ugly URLs ?
