DO you still have links on the page that refer to news or sidebar content?

#pagewrapper {width:expression(P7_MinMaxW(715,715));}
#container {height: 1%;}
{/literal}
{anchor anchor='menu_vert' title='Skip to navigation' accesskey='n' text='Skip to navigation'}
{anchor anchor='main' title='Skip to content' accesskey='s' text='Skip to content'}
{cms_selflink dir="start" text="$sitename"}
Navigation
{menu template='cssmenu.tpl'}

Did you clear the cache in the Admin module?
Do you have sidebar entries in your content pages?
Can you provide a link so we can see what's happening?
