Google maps - how can i use on CMSMS?

i have tried the googlemaps module on version 1.0.7 but no mater what i try i get a blank page. has anyone installed or used google maps on their site and if so..how do you do it?

My apologies..i found out that it was a javascript file that i had used that was conflicting with the google map module....once i removed it it works like a charm. thanks for the reply though.

I spent a couple of hours and rolled my own for our company...

click on the map to activate the full controls pan zoom and satellite etc

Hi,
I have embedded a google map onto a web page and it appears on the website successfully. When I open the page in the backend to make modifications to the text, the whole text editor area is blank -even in html mode, that part of the screen is empty. I noticed someone had the same problem on this post but don't know how they solved it. I don't know of any javascript file that it could be conflicting with it unless its one of the standard cmsms files...?
Any help appreciated, thanks. I'm using version 1.1.4.1 and the standard cut and paste html code that google provides to insert the map (used successfully many times in static websites).

Im having a similar problem to the previous post. My html area in admin is blank when i add google map code to a page. I've tried doing it the IFRAME way and EMBED, though im not sure if the EMBED code was correct. I just copied code from another page i made which was just html and javascript and it worked fine on that page but not when copied and pasted into cmsms.
Anyone have any idea how to make this work properly? Can you provide examples please.

Alrighty then, here is the SOLUTION to the Google Maps problem we all seem to be having...
Simb replied to a post i made in the following thread:

Scroll past all the german til you get to an english post...
He provides a fix for one of the CMSMS files which hides iframes the way it is, but with his tiny code change, it works!
