[SOLVED]Another Noob Question about the News Module

Here I go again...

In the news module, when one clicks on the detail, it takes me to a white background with unformatted text.  How do I format the detail to better reflect the site design?  I know that there is a detail template, but am I able to customize that template?  Can I use HTML and  JavaScript in that template?

I'm not quite sure what you mean; could you post a link to your site?

It looks like you haven't specified a page for the news to display in; could you show me the code you're using to call the module?

i.e. {news number="5" detailpage="alias"}

Do you have page that alias has "news". You can find that when editing your page and clicking on 'options'. So it's not on 'main' page where page title and menu title are set.
Do have right template attached to that page? Does that template has right stylesheets included in it?

It looks like you've fixed the problem now; I'd imagine that you didn't have a page called 'news' set up when you called it with 'detailpage="news"'.
