Where are the month localisations?

I'm having problems with months that have scandinavian letters: ä,ö,å

I assume that these are not in proper form "& auml;" etc but I have no idea where I could find the localisations. I tried Vistas built in search but didn't find anything even when looking inside files...

I hate these "kes?kuu" labels.

What do you mean with months. The calendar-module, translations are set in the lang folder under the module, so if the module is called with a specific language parameter, the translations are inside that sub-folder.

The lang folder under the module has words translated for the pages use. The problem appears when scandinavia letters (ö,ä,å) written in the lang folder appears as "?" on the page.
What could be the problem?
