Hey,

In the news module (2.2) does anyone know how to add a field so I can add an image to the summary page of a news article? I'm going to try using it as a local event notifier and need an image to be displayed instead of text on the summary page. I didn't get on too well with the Calender module.

I've found this thread which has a patch but I dont understand where to apply the patch? http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... 901.0.html

You can add image with FCKEditorX,TinyMCE or whatever you are using as your text editor. Just add it in summary field.

I'd prefer to put the proper patch in really. I will be having a few simple minded people using the system so I want it fool proof really. Can anyone tell me where to install that patch?

Hi Zappa,

I agree, some people would probably have trouble formatting a post image consistently.
