what i would like to do: i have a main category called "Movies" and a Movies subcategory called "Jingles".
I have a page with a summary which should appear under "Movies" in my menu and it's detail under "Jingles" ("Jingles" being a submenu from "Movies").
I hope it is clear enough to get some help?
I thought the best way to achieve this would be to use the NEWS module. So far I did create a category "Movies" and a subcategory "Jingles" ("Jingles" having "Movies" as parent). Then I added my article "Jingle 1" with a summary short text and a content longer one.
Now the question is how to procede to be able to click on "Movies" in my menu and to see my "Jingles 1" summary and to click on "Jingles" in my menu and to see my "Jingles 1" content text??? Of course if I click on "More..." in my summary text under "Movies", the "more..." link should go to the "Jingle 1" content text under "Jingles"!!!
Quite a challenge I guess?
Mostly because I would like to add a few "Movies" subcategories (not only "Jingles") like "Documentaries" and "Commercilas" too and to have a few summaries in my "Movies" belong to these different subcategories! Let say a summary leading to "Jingles" another leading to "Commercials" and so on.
I'm really stucked and wondering if CMSMS is the right choice to achieve this kind of things?
Thanx a lot in advvance for ANY help!

There is the 'News' content type that you can use when creating pages.  That should do the trick.

actually, correcting myself, that won't do the trick.  What you would need to do is:

Modify the News module so that you can get a detail report for a specific news article
like:  {news detailid='99'}

Currently (I don't think) this functionality is available for News.... though it'd be a minor modification.
