Gallery help wanted

Gudday all
I would like to set up a gallery were anybody (no need to log in) can upload picture to it and they will appear in the gallery straight away. Can this be done? If it can, could the answer be not to technical in nature, I'm struggling a bit here, words of one syllable and all that. I have access to the admin panel and all the permissions but don't have direct access to the server.
Our previous cms did this but it is so old now it's a joke, so I'm in the process of redesigning the thing. It's a fishing gallery by the way, nothing naughty
