Pausing up-down Scroller for News items

I'm trying to make a pausing up-down Scroller for the News items in my CMSMS-site, just like the one on this site: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/crosstick.htm
I've tried some javascripts and searched the CMSMS forum, but still can't find an answer to my problem.
Does anyone know how to devide the newsitems and put them in a pausing up-down scroller?
