Hi,
I obviously was not looking hard enough in the forum, because later after my original post I found the following:
http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,8054.0.html
This basically pointed me in the right direction, i.e I did not even know that had change settings in my "CMSMailer Module", after playing around with SMTP settings (I set them to my hosting company adviced) - I still got the same error.
So, what I did and I do not suggest that you do the same, however it worked for me is that I changed my "Mail method" to just "Mail" rather than "SMTP". I also used a "From" email from the same domain/server my form is hosted on both inside "CMSMailer Module" and inside my FormBuilder send settings.
Hope this helps.
Any comments/advice as to why I should be using "SMTP" oppose to "Mail" would be welcomed, as I'd like to understand what I'm doingÂ
Thanks

I had the same problem and choosing mail worked for me too. I don't know why either but now my contact_form tag wont work. I think I will just build a contact form using form builder to solve this problem unless there are any other ideas.
