CMS Made Simple Forums

I just installed version 1.0.6. and I got the error message:
/homepages/18/d204744332/htdocs/cmsmadesimple/tmp/templates_c is not writable, exiting

I am not able to proceed to installation. I have done nothing but transfer the cms to the server.
I have used other versions of CMS Made Simple before and have never had this problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Lila

The Fantastic Manual claims you should have made this folder 777 to be writeable. Have you followed this or really "done nothing but transfer the cms to the server" ?
