Missing breadcrumbs in Admin

I just upgraded a 1.0.2 installation, incrementally from 1.0.2 to 1.0.4, 1.0.4 to 1.0.5 and then 1.0.5 to 1.0.6.
In Admin, I am not seeing Breadcrumbs under the main horizontal menu.
In an attempt to fix this, I took the entire admin/themes/default directory from a 1.0.6 build and uploaded it hoping it would work. It did not.
Any ideas on how to get my breadcrumbs back in Admin?
