News module and FCKEditor

Hello,
I have CMSMS version 1.0.4 and am using FCKEditor pretty much out of the box. For content pages I see my styles under the "format" dropdown menu which is what I want. However, for entering News summary content and News body content, these styles are missing, and I get default Times New Roman font and black headings. Why is it that News and Pages behave differently here?
I have tried modifying fckconfig.js to import my stylesheet using EditorAreaCSS (assuming that the News module was not using the PHP wrappers that are there under modules/FCKEditor) but to no avail.
Any idea how I can get the admin entry page for News summary and body content to use the same styles as pages? Where do I need to look to fix this?
Thanks,
David Herbert.
