[Solved] Admin error message + others

Hi.

I have just logged in to admin and I am now getting this error message instaed of the usual menus.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: ini_get_boolean() in /hsphere/local/home/muscroft/mikemuscroft.com/admin/index.php on line 39

The upper menu is still working and I can access all areas - I think.
I re-installed the index.php file which goes in the admin folder, but this has made no difference.

How do I cure this issue please?

Mike.

[Addition] I have just noticed that my site has gone strange and is displaying the following error codes between the header and the menu bar:

Warning: fopen(/hsphere/local/home/muscroft/mikemuscroft.com/tmp/cache/contentcache.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /hsphere/local/home/muscroft/mikemuscroft.com/lib/classes/class.contentoperations.inc.php on line 515

Please help.
Mike.

Sounds like the permissions on your cache folders have changed. Try resetting them to 777 and clear the cache in admin.

Hi Nullig.

Tried that when it all went wrong. Also rechecked all other permissions and they're OK.

Forgot to mention that the only other thing I did was move my site from a sub-directory to root. I did edit config.php to relect these new changes and everything was OK for several hours and the it broke.

I think I might delete my database and remove CMSMS completely and do a new install.

Hi All.

If you've followed this thread, I thought I'd let you know what I have done.

I left my database intact and copied my config.php file to my desktop.
Then I deleted all the CMSMS files from the root of my server.
I then uploaded all the original 1.0.6 version files back to my server (root).
Put my config.php file back in place (root).
Reset the permissions as per the setup instructions.
Logged in and tested, everything was back to normal.

The only thing I had to do then was delete the text file which was stating that the "Site down message was showing" as instructed by the error message in admin after logging in.
