Hello,

I've downloaded the Google map Module.

Now I've my map. But I want to write a comment about a place on the map.

I don't know how to do .,. Do I have to change something in a folder into this module ?

What do I have to change and where ?

Thank you very much in advance !

In "Extensions -> GoogleMaps", you can choose "Edit" on "Your Markers". There you can put additional information in the textbox callled "Marker info". This will be shown in the balloon on your marker.

Firstly, thanks for the module, its pretty exciting!

Secondly.. Houston I have a problem..

When I create a marker it displays on the map perfectly,(though there seems to be a problem with some html display but I can work with that).

However,

the problem comes when EDITING the marker. If you edit it in any way it causes the map to NOT display, the only solution is then to replicate the marker info, create a new one and delete the old one.

I am assuming at this point that this is a bug, but could it be a set up issue at my end? Any thoughts?

Also in the create a new marker control panel you have a field titled: "Marker address" am I correct in thinking this is for inputting a URL of an icon (a .gif for instance) to use as a display marker on the map? Or is it something quite different?

EDIT TO POST:

Ok I really cant fathom the issue, it seems quite random, it just mainly seems to occur after editing an existing marker. I wondered if it is related to white space in the marker info ?  Any thoughts?

Yes, I had this problem when I tried to make the text flow over two lines without using html. If you wish your text in the marker balloon to flow over two lines use
